After Prophet Nuh's time, the 'Ad people emerged — a tribe Allah blessed with great stature, strength, and prosperity. They built tall palaces and grand structures, becoming arrogant with their power.
Allah sent Prophet Hud to them. He said: "O my people, worship Allah. There is no god for you but Him. Will you not be mindful?" But the 'Ad mocked: "Have you come to make us worship Allah alone and leave what our forefathers worshipped?"
They said: "Who is stronger than us?" They forgot: the One who made them strong was Allah.
Allah warned them repeatedly through Prophet Hud. They remained arrogant. Eventually Allah sent a fierce cold wind — for 7 nights and 8 days nonstop. The wind uprooted them like fallen trees. Only Prophet Hud and his followers survived.
For children: a strong body, intelligence, wealth — all of it is on loan from Allah. If we forget who gave it, we lose both.
