What Is Sadaqah?

Baby Mo holds two coins. A gift from Abi.

Outside, an old man carries a basket of brooms. Walking slowly under the sun.

Abi says quietly, "Mo, want to give the grandfather one coin?"

Baby Mo looks at his coins. Then at the grandfather. He runs over. "Sir! This is for you!"

The old man stops. He smiles wide. "Thank you, little one."

Baby Mo runs back to Abi, beaming. "Abi, I only have one coin left. But I'm happy!"

Abi hugs him. "That's called sadaqah, sweetheart. Give a little, make many happy."

Charity does not decrease wealth at all.
