Az-Zalzalah
الزَّلْزَلَة
Meaning: The Earthquake
About the Day of Judgement — Allah's promise: the smallest good is rewarded, the smallest bad is seen.
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا
Idzaa zulzilatil-ardhu zilzaalahaa
When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake,
وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا
Wa akhrajatil-ardhu atsqaalahaa
and the earth discharges its burdens,
وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا
Wa qaalal-insaanu maa lahaa
and man says, "What is wrong with it?"
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا
Yauma-idzin tuhadditsu akhbaarahaa
That Day, it will report its news,
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا
Bi-anna rabbaka auhaa lahaa
because your Lord has inspired it.
يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ
Yauma-idziy yashdurun-naasu asytaatal-liyurau a'maalahum
That Day, the people will depart separated to be shown their deeds.
فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ
Faman ya'mal mitsqaala dzarratin khairay-yarah
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.
وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ
Wa may-ya'mal mitsqaala dzarratin syarray-yarah
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
Tafsir for Children
On the Day of Judgement the earth shakes and tells everything that happened on it. Then Allah affirms: even a speck of good is rewarded, even a speck of bad is seen. For children: no kindness is wasted — helping a friend, sharing a toy, pleasing your parents, all recorded. So are small bad deeds. So always choose good.

Teaching children that every small good matters. Part of Juz 'Amma.
