Maintaining kinship widens provision and lengthens life

Whoever wishes for his provision to be expanded and his life to be lengthened, let him maintain ties of kinship.

SahihHR. Muslim 995

Spending on one's family is the greatest sadaqah

A dinar spent in Allah's cause, a dinar spent to free a slave, a dinar given to a poor person, and a dinar spent on your family — the greatest in reward is the one spent on your family.
