Story draft for the Baby Mo book
Helping Umi Bake Cookies

Baby Mo wanted to help bake cookies. The flour ended up scattered across the floor and his shirt.
"Umi, I want to help bake cookies!" Baby Mo was already standing by the kitchen counter, ready to go.
Umi lifted him onto a high chair. "Of course. But before we start, say it first."
"Bismillah," said Baby Mo, then poured the flour into the bowl โ too fast. Flour scattered across the counter, the floor, and his own shirt.
Baby Mo froze, afraid he'd get scolded. But Umi just laughed softly. "It's okay, Mo. Just go slowly, bit by bit."
They stirred the dough together. Baby Mo's little hands were covered in flour, but he grinned widely.
As the dough was rolled into balls and placed in the oven, Baby Mo pressed his face to the oven glass, waiting.
The moment the cookies were done, he took the first bite himself. "Umi, this is the best cookie! I made it!"
Umi hugged him, still covered in flour. "Because this cookie was made with bismillah, and made together."
The Prophet ๏ทบ was a busy man, yet he still made time to play and spend time with children.
Now, invite your little one to help with one simple kitchen task together โ mess and all, what matters is doing it together. ๐ช
