Story draft for the Baby Mo book
Two Pictures That Look Almost the Same

Two pictures look exactly the same… or do they? Baby Mo and Baby Ais learn that patient, careful eyes can find hidden wonders.
One relaxed afternoon, Abi took out two pictures and laid them side by side. "Look carefully," he said. "These two pictures are almost the same. But there are five differences hiding. Who can find them?"
"ME!" cried Baby Mo, pointing at random. "That one! That's different!"
Abi smiled. "That's the same, sweetheart. Look more slowly."
Baby Mo pouted for a second. It turned out finding differences couldn't be rushed. He had to look slowly, patiently, from top to bottom. Baby Ais pressed her face to the picture too, her eyes moving carefully like a little detective.
"Found one!" squealed Baby Ais. "The clouds are different! This one has three, that one has two!"
"Masha'Allah, well done!" said Abi. "That's one. Four to go."
Slowly they found them: a missing flower, a different shoe colour, a butterfly that had moved. Just one left. They searched… and searched…
"The cat winked!" Baby Mo suddenly cried, utterly certain. "In this picture its eyes are open, here they're shut! The cat winked at Mo!" Abi burst out laughing. "Correct! That's the fifth! But the cat didn't wink at you — the artist drew it that way on purpose."
Once all the differences were found, Abi said, "Do you know a secret about your eyes? Every minute, our eyes blink about fifteen to twenty times — and we don't even notice! Eyes are an amazing gift from Allah. But eyes can only truly 'see' if we're willing to pay patient attention."
"Patient attention," repeated Baby Ais softly.
"Exactly," said Abi. "So much beauty in this world is hidden in little things. A butterfly's wings, identical on the left and right. The lines on your fingertips, which match no one else in the whole world — not even Baby Ais, even though you're twins! All made by Allah, the Most Precise. Those who love to notice will always find a reason to say 'Masha'Allah'."
Baby Mo looked at his own fingertip, then at Baby Ais's. It was true — the lines were different! His jaw dropped. "Whoa."
From that day on, Baby Mo and Baby Ais had a new favourite game: walking slowly and hunting for "differences" and little wonders everywhere. In a leaf, in a cloud, on a dragonfly's wing. And every time they found something amazing, they cried out together:
"Masha'Allah!"
Because it turns out, this world is full of wonders — for patient eyes and a heart willing to pay attention. 👀✨
