The morning du'a before the house wakes up

Abi began a small habit: the morning du'a with the twins before the day begins.
Early morning, before the house gets loud, Abi started a new habit. As soon as Baby Mo and Baby Ais wake, before screens, before anything, we sit a moment and say "alhamdulillah" for waking again today.
They're still half-asleep, hair a mess. But Abi believes: the first thing to touch a child's heart in the morning sets the colour of the day. I want the first thing they hear to be gratitude, not hurry.
The morning habit is an invisible anchor. A child whose day always opens by mentioning Allah grows up feeling the day belongs to Allah. Not a heavy ritual — just one sentence, every morning, until it becomes a pulse.
We have reached the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah.
After that they run off to play, forgetting everything. That's fine. What plants it isn't their memory — it's our repetition.
