Story draft for the Baby Mo book
What Is the Adhan?

A beautiful voice rang out in the distance. Baby Ais stopped playing. "Umi, what's that sound? Why does everyone go quiet when they hear it?"
A beautiful sound rang out from far away. Baby Ais stopped playing.
Abi stopped working right away. He stood still, listening.
Baby Ais watched Abi. Then she sat still too, listening along.
When the sound finished, Baby Ais asked, "Abi, what's that sound?"
"That's the adhan, the call to pray," Abi said quietly. "It means it's time to pray for a moment."
Abi closed his eyes and prayed quietly. Baby Ais closed her eyes too, copying him.
Since then, every time she hears the adhan, Baby Ais pauses her play. Closes her eyes. Prays quietly.
A prayer made between the adhan and the iqamah will not be rejected.
Now, help your little one pause for a moment every time they hear the adhan, and pray quietly together. ๐
