The Qunut Supplication

Said during the final standing of the Fajr prayer

O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, grant me well-being among those You have granted well-being, take me into Your care among those You care for, bless what You have given me, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. For You decree and none can decree against You. The one You befriend is never disgraced, and the one You oppose is never honoured. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Exalted. To You is praise for what You decree. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

When it's read

During the standing after bowing in the second rak'ah of Fajr. Also said in Witr in the latter half of Ramadan.

For your little one

A hopeful supplication asking for guidance, protection, and blessing. Many children learn it gradually from hearing it in the congregational Fajr prayer.
