The Prophet ﷺ prayed while carrying Umamah

كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ، فَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا، وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا
Meaning
He prayed while carrying his granddaughter Umamah. When he prostrated, he set her down; when he stood, he carried her again.

Note for parents
The world's imam, in the most reverent place of worship, carried his small granddaughter. Prayer wasn't ruined by a child. True prayer welcomed the child — it didn't push her out.
