Raising daughters well opens paradise

Written by Tim Baby Mo

Meaning

Whoever cares for three daughters, educates them, marries them off, and treats them well, paradise is his.

Narrator: Anas bin Malik

Note for parents

In pre-Islamic Arabia daughters were seen as a disgrace — some were buried alive. This hadith isn't about quantity; it radically changed the ummah's view: educating daughters is a path to paradise.
