Dua When Travelling
Read when setting off on a long journey with the family — going home, holidays, or any trip.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا، وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ
Transliteration
Allahumma innaa nas'aluka fii safarinaa haadzal-birra wat-taqwaa, wa minal-'amali maa tardhaa. Allahumma hawwin 'alainaa safaranaa haadzaa, wathwi 'annaa bu'dah
Meaning
O Allah, we ask You for righteousness and piety on this journey of ours, and deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and fold up its distance.

Read when arriving or stopping at a place. Whoever says it, nothing will harm him until he leaves that place (Muslim).
