Story draft for the Baby Mo book
The Long Ice Cream Line

Ten people stood ahead of Baby Mo in line. The ice cream was already melting in his imagination, even though he hadn't bought any yet.
The ice cream line was very long. Baby Mo frowned. "So sloooow, Umi!"
Umi knelt down. "Let's play while we wait. Count how many blue shirts you see?"
Baby Mo started counting. Blue, red, yellow... He forgot he was even waiting.
Before he noticed, the line had moved forward. "We're close now, Umi!"
"Good afternoon, what would you like?" asked the seller, right in front of Baby Mo.
Baby Mo ordered his chocolate ice cream. It tasted so sweet.
"I thought the wait would be so long," said Baby Mo, licking his ice cream. "But it wasn't, was it?"
Umi patted his head. "When the heart is calm, waiting feels light."
Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient.
Now, give your little one a small game to play while waiting โ counting colours, or quietly singing. ๐ฆ
